As I mentioned in my last post, I spent this past week teaching poetry to kindergarteners. I co-taught with one of my peers how to use sound words, repetition, and revise when writing poetry. We created lessons that allowed our kindergarteners to explore poetry through looking at their surroundings and getting up out of their chairs. This really helped the lessons to go more smoothly and keep the students engaged! Below, I will link the lessons and my reflections of the lessons. Be sure to check them out!
